We just want to celebrate with you!!!
We’re taking over a taco bar!!!!
We love the chill atmosphere of Banditos and the tacos are down right awesome! We got you covered on food, drinks, dancing, and fun!
Beyond the cool vibes, there is a parking lot next door, hotels, a mall, and lots to do in walking distance. If you’re from out of town, we’ll make sure you get to see beautiful Baltimore! It’s just 20 minutes away.
Need more details about the wedding, well even if you didn’t ask here’s some answers.
After vows we’ll have hors d'oeuvre of chips and salsa-guacamole-queso, Mexican street corn & veggie empanadas. Dinner is tacos, of course! We got you covered with yo babba babba (veggie), cheese burger, fish, and al pastor (pork) tacos and some rice, beans, and salad. Check out what all of that means here.
Better question, what isn’t wedding casual? That would be gardening/gym shorts, flip flops that celebrate your time at Myrtle Beach in 2004, T-shirts with all the stains and whatever you wore last night to bed.
Seriously we don’t judge, but here’s a link if you need it...and yes jeans and dress shorts are fine.
If there’s a designated driver, we suggest parking in the lot next to the venue (just west) of the venue 37 Allegheny Ave, called The Washington Ave Parking Lot, $2.50/ hr thru the ParkMobile app. There is a county garage, Washington Ave. Garage, at 100 W Susquehanna Ave., $2/ first 3 hrs, then $1/ hour…$10 max.
Due to the number of folks we expect for these meals, we decided to be the wedding location in Towson. Dinner will be at 7pm, June 21 at The Point. Brunch will be at 10:30am, June 23 at Barley’s Backyard.
You will have Sunday until 4pm to roam around Baltimore.
Towson is about 30 minutes from Baltimore, BWI. You’re lucky an hour and change on a good day from National, DCA and Dulles, IAD.DC traffic is the worst!
The venue, Banditos, is downtown Towson within blocks to serval hotels. Here’s the Sheraton, Home2 Hilton, and Hampton Inn home pages.
The AFRAM Festival is a celebration of African American life, music (Patti Labelle!) and culture. June 21-22
The Walters Museum, free and drop in weaving class 11am-1pm Sunday, June 22
Baltimore Art Museum, free lots of art and Freddie Gray exhibition ends June 22
Harbor boat tour, not free, 45 minutes starts at noon
